The Challenge & Our Mission
In Kenya, the steady arrival of individuals fleeing conflict, combined with the ongoing needs of existing populations, demands a robust and compassionate response. By 2026, we project over 981,000 people will need protection and solutions.
The Refugee Consortium of Kenya (RCK) is at the forefront of this effort. Guided by the national Shirika Plan and the government’s commitment, our mission for 2026 is clear: to ensure every refugee and stateless person can live in safety and dignity, access their fundamental rights, and move towards a secure future.

- Mental Health & Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)
We will provide critical counselling, psychosocial services, and community-based support systems to help individuals and families heal from trauma, build resilience, and regain their emotional well-being. - ⚖️ Legal Aid & Governance, Policy and Advocacy
We will offer free legal representation, facilitate access to justice, and secure vital documentation. We also work to strengthen governance systems to be more inclusive and responsive to the needs of the displaced. - 🕊️ Peace & Social Justice
We will foster dialogue, promote conflict resolution, and advocate for social justice policies that protect the rights of marginalized groups, building cohesive and harmonious communities. - Women & Girls Empowerment
We will implement targeted programs to advance the rights of women and girls, combat gender-based violence, promote economic independence, and ensure their full participation in community leadership and decision-making. - 🏛️ Organizational Development
