With the aim to safeguard and protect the rights and dignity of forced migrants and host-communities in Kenya, the Refugee Consortium of Kenya (RCK) will conduct a free 3-day workshop on refugee law in Kenya designed for advocates only.
The workshop is tailored to capacitate legal practitioners in Kenya on refugee law; the contemporary developments under the Refugees Act, 2006, regional and international regulations; and creation of in-depth understanding on emerging global concepts such as the Comprehensive Refugee Response Framework.
Date: 17th – 19th August, 2021
Time: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Location: Nairobi. Venue to be communicated to the selected advocates via email. RCK will provide conference room and training materials for the selected participants.
Cost: Free
Applicants are hereby invited to send their requests to attend the workshop by sending an email with the following details:

- The legal area of practice and;
- The location from which they will be travelling to and from the workshop venue.
