Communication, Research & Monitoring

The Communication, Research and Monitoring Programme seeks to develop and disseminate information that will empower various actors including refugees and other forced migrants. The information developed by RCK is designed to enlighten the public, including policy makers, on the plight of displaced persons.

The Programme conducts the following activities:

  • Developing and disseminating Information and Education materials
  • Conducting community forums with refugee communities and sensitizing them on their rights and duties
  • Engaging with the media to profile the work of RCK as well as disseminate information about the plight of displaced persons
  • Maintaining a well resourced centre that has information on displaced persons in Kenya and the region
  • Maintaining and updating the RCK website
  • Engaging in periodical research that inform RCK advocacy strategies and interventions
  • Monitoring different developments related to asylum within the country and the region on a daily basis
  • Monitoring the implementation progress of RCK projects
  • Evaluating the relevance and success of projects implemented by RCK
